GE Rebuild Continues
Work is continuing in the backshop on HVRM's 95-tonner no. 11. The venerable diesel-electric locomotive has gone through an extensive rebuild over the last few years. The GE was built in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1952 and has been repainted into its original Interlake Iron colors. There's still some minor mechanical work to perform and decals to apply. The paint job is courtesy of Mike Koehler, who spent considerable time making sure that the chevrons were properly painted.
