Steam Trains
Take a nostalgic trip back in time aboard one of Hoosier Valley's steam excursions! These short trips are 35-40 minutes and take passengers from our depot in North Judson to our park along our former Erie trackage. The entire round-trip journey is only 2 miles long, but you'll get to experience to sites, smells, and sounds of live steam behind Bock Lumber Company #1. The trip includes an opportunity to disembarq from the train to take photos and chat with the crew.
Fresh from its recent multi-year rebuild, Bock Lumber #1 was originally built in 1908 and is the only standard-guage Forney-type steam locomotive in operation in America.
Excursion times for the Steam Pumpkin Trains are:
10:00 am / 12:00 pm / 2:00 pm
All times are CENTRAL TIME (Chicago time)

Steam Pumpkin Train Tickets
Steam Train tickets are $10 per person (under 3 ride for free with an adult). Purchase a pumpkin for $3.00 to help support the North Judson-San Pierre FFA.
