Easter Trains

Hop aboard the Easter Train and enjoy a fun-filled excursion aboard one of the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum's most popular train rides! Passengers will board the train at our depot in North Judson and take a quick trip out across the Kankakee River bridge at English Lake before returning to town. Passengers will disembark from the train at Grasselli Tower. Our younger passengers (ages 2 to 12) will participate in our Easter Egg Hunt.

  Coach Seating (Open or sealed windows)
  Adults (Ages 16+): $20
  Children (Ages 3-15): $14
  Toddlers (Ages 0-2): Free

  First Class Seating
  Lounge Tickets: $25
  Private Room (seats up to 3): $80

  Infants and toddlers may ride the train for free but must ride on a parent's or guardian's lap. Tickets purchased online will be charged a booking fee. Please read our refund policy.

• Event Details

  Bring your own basket and let your youngster search for eggs filled with candied treasures. Age groups for Easter Egg Hunt will be as follows:

  • 2 to 4 years
  • 5 to 7 years
  • 8 to 12 years

  Don't forget to bring your camera and take pictures with the Easter Bunny! The length of the train ride is approximately 45 minutes with the Easter Egg Hunt following each trip.

• Seating Options

  Open Window Coach, Sealed Window Coach, and First Class seating is available on our Easter Trains. The Sealed Window Coach is an enclosed, sealed-window car with padded seats and HVAC. The Open Window Coach is an enclosed, heated car with padded seats, and features windows that can be opened by passengers. First class tickets are aboard the Lynne business car. Please remember that our trains run rain or shine.
