2022 Santa Trains
Experience the magic of the season with a trip aboard the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum's Santa Train! Trains leave the depot in North Judson, Indiana, at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm CENTRAL TIME and take passengers on a leisurely journey through the rural wintery landscape. Every passenger gets to visit Santa and take family photos to remember the experience. Plus, every child aboard the train receives a special gift from the jolly old elf himself!
Santa Trains operate on the following Saturdays:
Tickets must be purchased in advance for this event.
We are limiting the number of tickets available.
Included in your ticket price:
- Round-trip train ride from North Judson to English Lake and return.
- Visit Santa Claus aboard the train.
- Gift bag for each child aboard the train.
- Photo opportunities.
Not included in the ticket price:
- Refreshments.
- Souvenirs.
Details
- Trains load and unload at the depot in North Judson.
- The train ride takes approximately 60-75 minutes and is about 10 miles long round-trip.
- Adults (ages 16 and over) are $20.00, children (ages 3 to 15) are $14.00.
- Toddlers under 3 ride for FREE, no ticket required.
- Purchase 6 or more tickets and receive the group rate discount of $2.00 off per ticket.
- All tickets and items purchased online will be charged an additional booking fee of $1.00.
Tickets purchased online must be picked up at the depot when you arrive (we DO NOT mail tickets). Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure to get your tickets and board the train. Please show your e-ticket or provide your full name to the ticket agent in the depot when you arrive.
Important Information
- Trains run rain or shine.
- Seating is on a first-come, first-basis in our enclosed coach.
- Vintage railcars have limited handicapped accessibility - please contact us for details.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
- Please remember that we operate on CENTRAL TIME (Chicago time).
