The complete rebuild of Interlake Iron 11 is now finished, and this photo shows the details of the completed cab.

HVRM has 2 Wigwag signals on the property. This photo shows both signals in operation.
In June of 2009, we used EL 310, our NKP gon, and our Orton rail crane to fill in a small washout along the tracks.

In the summer of 2008, museum volunteers moved a 50' x 100' pole barn from Monterey, IN to North Judson, IN. Here we see a good part of the building is already up.
Over the winter of 2010 / 2011 museum members started working on our newest open air flat car. During the construction of the car, we discovered the original heritage of the car was the Missouri, Kansas, Texas Railroad, also know as The Katy.

NKP motor car 1415 is unique because it was ordered by the NKP railroad and delivered to the N&W railroad after N&W absorbed the NKP. Seen here in LaCrosse, IN with NKP 765 in the background.

Back in the spring of 2008, EL 310 suffered a valve failure. The valve head caused extensive damage to the head, piston, and liner. Parts were obtained, and here we see the new piston / rod assembly being lowered into the block.

NKP Boxcar 15797 was repaint in 2010.
In this photo, member Jason Annen is removing the oil seals from from the gearbox on axle #3 in order to drop the gearbox cover. Once the cover is dropped, the gears will be inspected, the pan will be cleaned, gaskets changed, and new oil added.
