Diesel Excursions
Ride behind a vintage diesel locomotive in an open-air sightseeing car or sit in the air-conditioned comfort of coach seating. Travel through the rural farm country of Starke and southern LaPorte Counties.
Special Events
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum offers a number of special events throughout the year. Many of these trains sell out quickly, so make sure you purchase your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Schedules & Fares
Plan your visit around one of our popular tourist trains. Travel through the rural farm country of Starke and southern LaPorte Counties. Flowers, butterflies, wildlife and a variety of Indiana crops are visible from the train.
Charter a Train
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum offers chartered train service for bus tours, business meetings, church groups, reunions, school field trips, and other special events. Our chartered trains are available even when the museum is closed.

Standard hours are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
