The museum will be closed this Saturday, April 20, 2024, so volunteers can participate in training.

Cabooses

The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum rosters several cabooses. The caboose was the traditional "rolling office" of a train's conductor. They also served as sleeping quarters and kitchen for the train crews of yesteryear. Many of these cabooses are operational and used around the museum. Others are on display or awaiting restoration.
