Union Pacific Donates Tamper
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is pleased to announce the donation of a production tamper from Union Pacific. Through the efforts of HVRM member Rich Warner, UP graciously donated the tamper to the museum. This is a major acquisition for the railroad museum and it will help greatly in our efforts to maintain our trackage.
The tamper arrived on April 17, 2014 and was delivered by a trucking firm from Louisiana.
The museum greatly appreciates the help of Mr. Warner over the last several months and the dedicated employees of Union Pacific who went out of their way to help our organization. To all involved, we say, "Thank you!"
