Volunteer Opportunities
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is an all-volunteer organization. We are actively searching for new members to fill various roles around the museum - no job is too small. Few of our volunteers have any actual railroad experience, but that doesn't mean that you can't help!
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum has been built through the hard work and dedication of its active membership. Without these volunteer members, the museum would not be able to function. There is always a need for skilled and talented workers around the museum:
- Gift Shop Clerks
- Ticket Agents
- Car Hosts
- Train Operations (Engineers, Conductors, and Brakeman)
- Buildings & Grounds Maintenance
- Locomotive Mechanics
- Rolling Stock Restoration
- Event Coordinators
- and much more!
In order to volunteer, you must be a member. Members who would like to take a more active role and volunteer for various activities around the museum should contact the person in charge of their specific area of interest.
